Ernst Gallery's film poster collection entitled the Golden Age of Hungarian Film Posters was first presented to the public during the Budapest Spring Festival in 2004. The collection contains unique compositions by towering talents of Hungarian poster art from 1912-1945.
The collection was shown in the prestigious Budapest Galéria from 23rd March until 18th April 2004. The book 'Film Posters, The Golden Age of Hungarian Film Posters 1912-1945' was published in conjunction with the exhibition. It won the certificate of merit and the surcharge of British-American Tobacco on the competition of the Beautiful Hungarian Book in 2004.
